Years ago, I entered my grief journey with the scant knowledge that you were talked about and labeled a nutcase if you grieved over a significant loss for more than a few months. Of course that’s not true.

But since my emotions were all over the place after Bill died, I questioned my sanity.

I wish I had known it’s the chaos of our often contradictory emotions clamoring through eachother, which causes this crazy, yet normal feeling.

I later learned many feel this way. But at the time, this was something I wasn’t eager to share with anyone, so I felt very alone.

Knowing this then, would have made my journey easier.
